Rockville Sports Camp, Riding Center & Nursery School

Camp Olympia is a Rockville, MD sports camp, nursery school & child care center that also offers horseback riding to children and adults from all across Maryland. Our summer sports camp was established over 54 years ago and has been catering to the needs of the community since the late 1950’s. The facility is located very close to Washington, DC and the surrounding communities, placing it in a perfect location for Rockville, Bethesda and city parents. The suburban area and proximity to the city create a unique environment at Camp Olympia, unmatched by any other sports camp in the area!

At the Camp Olympia Country Day School/child care center, we utilize our wonderful country environment at the camp to enhance the learning and development of preschoolers on a daily basis. They will learn about nature through our daily hikes through the woods, fields, and streams. In addition, we will work on helping your child to develop social, emotional, cognitive, physical and creative skills. The nursery classes are offered for children from the age of 2 – 6, with the 5 and 6 year olds being in kindergarten. The nursery school/child care center is a great environment for the young child to begin a memorable educational experience. Children develop differently and we strive to provide their needs through a wide variety of activities.
